Trinity
We believe in one God who is creator of all things and of triune nature – God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ – the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified,
buried and resurrected, ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.
(Mark 16:19; Acts 2:23-25)

Divine Inspiration
We believe the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God. 
(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and is a gift of God for all men through the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8; I Timothy 2:4; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:9)

Eternal Judgment
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved and eternal punishment of the lost.  
(Matthew 25:46)

Indwelling
We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, and in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 19:2-7; Acts 1:5; Acts 2:4)

Second Coming
We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(John 14:2-3; James 5:7)

Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion, it is symbolic of the believers identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
We believe in (The Lord’s Table) for believers, that the bread and wine are symbolic of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

We are conveniently located on beautiful land in Bugesera, just 30 minutes drive from Kigali.

The Founder.

Pastor Dr Ian Tumusime is the President of A Light to the Nations Africa Ministries. He is the husband of Janette Tumusime, together they are the parents of six children. Pastor Ian has served as an associate pastor and interpreter for visiting preachers at Africa Revival Palace community church in Gisozi, has studied with YWAM Rwanda, and Christ for the nations South Africa. He serves with aLn USA as African director organizing gospel crusades in various countries., bringing pastors together for the betterment of their communities. He has initiated several projects that have helped people in need, particularly in the Bugesera Community. In July 2018 Ian got his Doctorate from the Universty of Zoe theological seminary.

Our Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is God’s written Word, divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit; it is infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and life.
  • We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death for our sins, in His bodily resurrection, and His personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration, and sanctification, who indwells every believer, equipping them to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the necessity of new birth, in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and the importance of life fully committed to the will of God in Christ.
